Papertrey & Pinterest

Are you all enjoying all of the Papertrey Anniversary festivities? There are so many fun challenges and prizes. And….there’s more! Today, Nichole revealed Papertrey’s presence on Pinterest. I discovered Pinterest about a year ago and was immediately drawn to it. It is the ultimate resource to locate all sorts of ideas. I use Pinterest for a variety of reasons, including recipes, entertaining ideas, make-up tutorials, photography perspectives, and of course paper crafting inspiration. I really like being able to place so many of my interests in one central location. It’s also just as fun viewing what other people like. Typically, I can even get a giggle from something someone has pinned. Pinterest is definitely a place on the Internet to get lost…for hours!

While browsing Pinterest for inspiration, I found this photo of this relaxing room. I really liked the colors and the textures in the room. There are lots of neutrals, but also pops of color, which pretty much sums up favorite color palettes of mine. So, I designed this simple card after staring at the above image for hours!

Stamp woodgrain pattern with white ink on kraft cardstock.

Distress cardstock using acrylic paint.

Stamp rug.

Die cut sofa. Stamp outline, then stamp solid sofa and legs.

Stamp pillows, cut out and adhere to sofa, then add to cardstock.

Stamp sentiment, then stitch strip on cardstock.

Mat on cardstock, then assemble to A2 card base.

Thanks for visiting today! So, follow Papertrey on Pinterest and create something to win one of those great prizes today! Don’t forget to check out how the rest of the design team uses Pinterest too!
